Discover the Pays d’Auge with your family

The Pays d'Auge is wonderfully suited to family holidays. Between land and sea, the region offers not only an idyllic setting but also a multitude of activities suitable for children.

Here are some ways to explore, to work out, to relax... depending on the weather and your desires, some ideas for sharing happy moments and creating unforgettable memories.

Within the Le Coq enchanté estate

Develop your imagination and that of your children by staying in the caravan , ideal for stories and daydreaming.

Enjoy the tranquility of the garden by sharing a summer nap in the grass, the apple harvest in the fall, a deep breath of fresh air in winter, or an observation of the fauna and flora in the spring.

In the village of Cambremer

Games for the little ones, multi-sport field, cycle path... children can exercise at the City stadium, the village playground

At Easter, children happily roam the village and its nooks and crannies during a big egg hunt . Be careful not to fall: these are fresh eggs! At the end of the quest, you can pool your loot and taste the giant omelette prepared on the Church Square.

The 2nd weekend of October, after encouraging the soapbox runners and taking a ride on the merry-go-round, the children light up the night with their lanterns during the torchlight procession , before marveling at a fire. 'artifice.

–  Aquatic activities : sea and beach games on the Côte Fleurie, lengths in the swimming pool of Trouville (summer), diving in the lake of Pont-L'Évêque (leisure center from April to September , walk all year round), fishing on foot in Cabourg, Houlgate or Merville-Franceville.

Land activities : horseback riding in one of the many equestrian centers in the region, playing a mini-golf in Cabourg, playing paleontologist by going in search of fossils on the Vaches Noires cliffs (Houlgate, Villers) , cycle on the greenways or along the coast.

Thrills  : the Deauville Adventure Park offers paintball, tree climbing, adventure courses, zip lines and all-terrain electric scooter rides.

WHAT IF IT RAINS? SHELTER ACTIVITIES

– Transport yourself to a tropical environment, to the butterfly greenhouse at Naturospace in Honfleur.

– Travel back in time to meet the dinosaurs at the Paléospace in Villers-sur-Mer.

– Swim in the Lisieux indoor swimming pool

– Comfortably seated, escape into the pages of the books of the Les Franciscaines  in Deauville .

– Take refuge at the cinema: the Drakkar in Dives-sur-Mer offers sessions with snacks or workshops throughout the year. Festivals : RexyAnimé in Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives and Drakkar'Toon in Dives-sur-Mer during the autumn holidays, Little Films Festival in Dives-sur-Mer in the summer.
